大胆に移り変わっていく音に、大小様々な時間軸の出来事を自然と頭の中で重ね合わせたくなるサウンドスケープ作品。楽曲としてとらえるよりも、この音とともにどのように時間を過ごすかという問いを投げかけられているような気さえする。俯瞰してみれば、時間の流れは全ての人に等しく連続的に進んでいくものであるが、個人的な観点からは常に均一なグラデーションを伴っているわけではない。昨夜ベッドに入ったときのマインドが、必ずしもそのまま朝起きたときに引き継がれるわけではないように、認知できる意識の範疇の外にあるような脳の動きであったり、はたまた完全に自分とは切り離された外的な要因に左右されながら、"私の時間"は句読点を打ちながら次のフェーズに突入していく。A Passageというこの作品のタイトルは、客観的に定義されていない（されている場合もあるが）一つの区切りの単位として用いられる言葉のようだが、作曲者の個人的なその一節一節を、自分自身の感情や時間の移り変わりなどに置き換えてみれば、音楽体験のみならず、文学的なリスニング体験を得ることができるのではないかと思う。
